This policy covers the ME-Hindi website and the ME-Hindi Android app (package movie.explainer.hindi). Last updated 29 October 2026.

What we collect

• Website: we don't ask for an account and don't use cookies or advertising trackers. To see which pages and explainers people use, the site keeps a random visitor ID in your browser's local storage and records, on our own server only: the pages you open, the explainer videos you play, what you search for on the site, how long a page stays open, the site that sent you here, your device type, browser, operating system and browser language. We don't store your IP address with this data and don't share it with anyone. You can clear it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. Our server also keeps standard access logs for security.
• Android app: the app creates a random installation ID and sends it with the app version, device maker and model, Android version and language setting, so we can count installs and tell you when an update is available. It doesn't collect your name, contacts, location or files.

YouTube

Explainer videos are played with YouTube's embedded player (YouTube API Services). When you play a video, YouTube may collect data as described in the Google Privacy Policy, and your use of the player is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. On the website the player only loads when you press play, and it uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.

TMDB

Movie data and images come from The Movie Database (TMDB). Images may be loaded from TMDB's servers, which see your IP address like any website you visit.

Sharing and retention

We don't sell or share personal data. Access logs and install records are kept only as long as needed to run and improve the service.

Children

ME-Hindi is a general-audience service and isn't directed at children under 13.
